Jason was an officer and served 25 years in the military until his accident. Now, he is paralyzed from the chest down and uses a wheelchair. He has a special pickup truck equipped with hand controls. The top hinges open on the side, bringing his wheelchair out and around to the driver's side of the cab, via a special crane. His truck seat swivels 90 degrees and moves forward so he can transfer onto his wheelchair independently.
