True Forged Irons (Set)

True Forged irons are not the typical “soft cast” imitation forged irons. Genuinely forged from 8620-carbon steel with a double chrome finish and a frosted sole, these irons offer both playability and work ability that cannot be expected from conventional irons.

True Forged irons differentiate themselves by their shape and profile. A shallower face and thin top line reduces weight, creating a longer blade length from heel to toe. This provides a lower center of gravity, with increased perimeter weighting. This shallow cavity back iron allows the accomplished golfer to execute shaping shots. The mid- handicapper will see forgiveness without sacrificing feel. A rounded toe, soft leading edge and contoured sole present a modern look that offers improved playability for golfers of any skill set. Several popular shaft options are also available.

The beveled edge of True Forged irons offers the high handicap golfer playability with better turf interaction, and appeals to the low handicapper with a more upright golf swing. The rounded rocker sole easily adapts to nearly any lie angle and makes these irons more playable.

True Forged irons are made with Patriot steel shafts. Patriot steel is co-designed by Apollo specifically for use with the True Forged irons. At 85 grams, this lightweight shaft with a high kick point is designed to create additional club head speed and launch the ball with ease. Overall, golfers will notice increased feel and control, with the distance they expect from graphite, but with the stability of steel. Also available, the Patriot graphite shaft which is designed to accomplish the same goals as the Patriot steel shaft. Made of high tonnage graphite, this light weight, 100% graphite shaft offers excellent control with great response. A firm tip section and low kick point will help generate a high launch angle without sacrificing control. Many popular graphite and steel shaft upgrades are available including grip options.
