HRL Driver

The Bob Burns Hyper Responsive Launch Driver is a four piece forged titanium
driver with a 2.8 mm thick 15 – 3 – 3 – 3 Beta Titanium face. The 15 –
3 – 3 –3 Beta Ti is used because of the high tensile strength and yield
strength required in a face this large and thin. The combination of the
15 – 3 –3- 3 Beta Ti and the face dimension maximize the spring effect.

The Hyper Responsive Launch driver is form forged, not cast Forging allows
the Titanium to be fabricated to a much higher tensile strength than would
be possible through casting methods.

The higher yield strength in the enlarged forged face, engineered to be
thinner permits greater face deflection at impact.

The enlarged sweet spot is elliptical in shape and extends high on the toe
to low in the heel, for more forgiveness on off center hits.

The increased face area combined with increased face deflection provides the
optimal combination of ball speed, launch, and spin for longer tee shots
that carries along way and provides further role.

-In Summery, Using premium grade Beta Titanium, forged thin, with increased
face area will provide greater face deflection “the spring effect” for
greater energy transfer.

Weight Ports-

The Hyper Responsive Launch driver features three adjustable weight portals
in the belly of the head. This technology of weight ports incorporated
in our design allows the weight to be shifted around the perimeter of the
head for enhanced control of ball flight patterns.

A simple change out of weight screws allows the golfer to manipulate the
head mass by shifting weight from heel to toe or from the face of the club
to the rear.

The flight trajectory is altered to higher carries when weight is moved
rearward hence “Back weighted” To achieve lower more boring flights weight
is moved forward “Fore weighting” closer to the face for more piercing,
powerful drives.

Flight patterns tending to draw left or fade right can also contained with a
simple weight screw adjustment. “Banana balls” as they often referred to
plague golfers and diminish their enjoyment of the game. Shifting weight
to the toe will enhance the “natural gear effect” allowing the club head to
release through the ball more effectively. Moreover, moving more weight to
the heel lessens the gear effect by incorporating resistance to excessive
hooks, pulls, or draws.

Weight moved into the toe promotes more face rotation for straighter shots. The
opposite is true for those who hit left. Increased mass shifted into the
heel and will allow resistance to the banana ball.

In summery, three strategically placed weight ports will allow individuals
to manipulate the weight of the HRL Driver, resulting in a club tailored to
enhance ball flight to improve one’s game.
